Boris Johnson announced that the four UK nations have "unanimously" agreed to ease Covid restrictions over the Christmas period, despite rising infection rates.

This means people will still be able to travel across the country to spend time with family and friends, with three households allowed to form a “bubble” from 23 to 27 December.
